DeleteAlways ICT helps in remote learning especially in this pandemic it helps a lot to connect the students in easy way. Using smart phone we are sending videos in groups to the students along with the worksheeets/google forms related to the video to answer also asked them to send the photocopies of the answered sheets and discussion is made in the group for better understanding. If activities are shared our students will send videos of the activity they made which help me to understand the level of their learning.
DeleteIn remote village ,connectivity through smartphones is the only medium through which we can connect to the students. We can reach the children through whatsapp, zoom meeting, google meet, Sikkim Edutech. Apart from that educational broadcast through TV and Radio can also help students to learn in pendamic hours.

ReplyDeleteit really depends on what topic we are teaching...but as a whole the use of smart phone aided with internet, i have made use of youtube channel of my own where I teach the topic on slides and paper top video, the comments are the interaction mode here. As youtube is helpful as saving the offline video helps student use the resource even when there is no continous internet facility.

Since I love Social Science subjects which are dynamic in nature, I would love to use 'Bhuvan' for my children. I can use my simple android phone and show the maps and explain the matter is a simple manner.

We can interact with the students through whatsapp, youtube and zoom meeting. The problem is that network connection is not very good and this creates lots of difficulty in our interaction.

ReplyDeleteI have prepared some small conceptual videos and shared them in the whats app groups we have created class wise . On implementation i realised that many parents dont have smart phones.
ReplyDeleteI had an idea though not implemented. we can create cluster wise cable networks to transmit lessons on tv with school based studios.
Since most of the students can handle smartphones by themselvs, it is easier to reach to each student through whatsapp. Sending prepared tutorial videos through telegram or whatsapp, so also youtube is used so that a student could look into the tutorial video posted whenever he/she would feel the need for it. Smart phone is like a all in one device so, it is mostly used.

ReplyDeleteBeing a science, if i had to use one ICT tool for making my teaching more effective would be the use of the app anatomy 3D which i just went through in the information provided by nishtha in the previous video. Using this app would allow me to give the students a real time view of different parts if human body.

One of the best example i found of ICT in remote learing is the use of google meet for the teaching learning purpose, it makes reliable to the teacher to prepare the learning materials in an homely environment and even the students attain the classes with a zeal, i also found they feel free to ask the questions in such enveroment rather than face to face learning .

ReplyDeleteI use PHET simulations for teaching homogeneous solutions, finding pH of solution, balanced and unbalanced forces, inertia etc. These are really helpful in this pandemic situation where we can not give hand on experience to learners.

Student need not to encourage for using mobile phone for their learning, they are very quick lo learn new things being introduced on online system of learning. So, Mobile learning (online learning system) is very effective and significant as one of ICT tools for teaching-learning processes.

ReplyDeleteDuring pandemic ICT helps me a lot. I am using Google classroom & Google meet apps under Gsuite for education account for school to remain in touch with my students. I am also using Google Colaboratory for teaching Python language programming.

Using smart phone we are sending videos along with the worksheeets etc related to the also asked them to send the photocopies of the answered sheets and discussion is made in the group for better understanding. activities are shared and our students has send videos of the activity that they have prepared which helps us to understand the level of their learning.
