  103. During COVID pandemic classes are going through online mode, taking online classes and giving content through whatsapp group is not enough. the regular counselling of the students is also very important. i used to call students occasionally asking the well being of their family.
    It was good experience

  105. COVID has brought in many changes in the preferences, attitudes and possibilities in all areas including teaching and learning across the globe.
Though Social distancing was mandate, technology helped teachers and students stay connected and share thoughts.
We have held classes online over WebEx and teacher's self recorded videos were also shared in the WhatsApp groups to enable students to replay and learn at their comfort.
Teaching learning materials like notes , worksheets and assignments were shared inthe WhatsApp groups. Monthly tests were held online over Google Forms.
Various co curricular activities age and class appropriate, like elocution, drawing/painting, poem recitation , calligraphy, picture interpretation and many others held online. Teachers were in touch with the students and their parents enquiring their well being and the academic progress of the students.
Percent teachers meeting also held online once in a month.
Teachers by the way have also become adept at generating and sharing resource materials and tests online.
Thanks to technology, it is making things possible and people hopeful of a better tomorrow.

  107. Due to pandemics of covid 19 still the schools are not started regularly and normally. The lock down period was totally a different experience for all the world. Suddenly the schools were closed and no one was aware when they would start. The teaching learning process was stopped midway. Then the technology came forward to help us. Using the the social media apps like Whats App, Google Meet, Zoom, we tried to bring back the students in teaching-learning process. It was a good experience for us teachers but unfortunately we can not reach to all our government aided school students through online technology because every student does not have the needed devices. Even some of the parents lost their jobs. They can not afford even the internet and in Mumbai we didn't have any transport facilities to reach our students physically. So we could involve only the 50% to 60% of our students through online teaching-learning process. Now the schools in Mumbai have begun off-line for std. 8th to 10th but still the presenty of the students is below 70%. Some of the students have migrated some other places leaving the schools in Mumbai. Now the students and the teachets are enjoying off-line classes. Let's hope everything will be normal soon. I think the students, teachers and especially the parents came to know the importance of schools.
